Awa Spa was born from a passion to provide a quaint sanctuary that would offer men and women a tranquil, serene environment that encouraged time to unwind and remove themselves from the stresses of daily life.

Awa Spa is a uniquely calming experience, a combination of my favorite elements and design. From water and bamboo to orchids and exotic sounds. In choosing a name for my passion, I thought "what a better name than Awa!" In my native language, Papiamentu, which is spoken on Curacao, Awa (pronounced ahh-wah) means water. Being from an island, our lives are surrounded by awa. Leaving you to fee serene and regenerative.

At Awa Spa, just as in Curacao, you will be surrounded by the sight and sound of water. Come visit us at Awa... your moment of relaxation for your mind, body and spirit.

AWA (ahh-wah) adj: Means water in the language of Papiamentu, which is spoken on the island of Curacao. The name was chosen because of the peace, serenity and tranquility of sight and sound it bring to one's senses.
